What an awesome day! Several WCTT members headed out to an open track day at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA. We were in 2 different run groups on the big track and we all did great. The TTs (and other various German cars in our group!) stuck to the track like you couldn't believe and had some fun with the muscle cars in the twisties.

One of our favorite drives, up around Angeles Crest, Angeles Forest and Big Tujunga! A little hot, but still beats the valley heat. Check all the different colors that were represented and we made our way to the top of Mt. Wilson.

Thanks to everyone for coming over to my place for a GREAT mod day! We worked on my car the whole time (hey, I offered to work on others!) and did the Euro headlight mod and installed my new Hyperboost DV! I had a great time.

Another great drive thanks to Kevin! We metup in Westlake and took some great canyons over to Malibu where we had lunch on the beach and each took a different way home.

This is just a great drive. The basic route is Interstate 5 to Fraiser Park exit. That road all the way to Highway 33 and then 33 into Ojai for lunch. That part of the drive (if you don't get lost.. and some of us did!) goes from about 9:30 till 12:30 and we arrive in Ojai just in time for lunch. Some stuck around Ojai for sight-seeing, some went right home and some took Highway 150 to Highway 126 back into Valencia. It was another great drive and I'm sorry about the chipmunk.

What a fun day! TTigg hooked up the BBQ with dogs, burgers, chicken, and more! A few new members showed up to join in on the fetivities. Oh man.. and the trifle!

Thanks to one of our group founders, our official Mechanix Wear man, and a great guy Kevin Reynolds, a select few of us were invited to be VIP's at the Mechanix Wear 200 held at the Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield. Beforehand we all got a tour of the Mechanix Wear Facility, and what an incredible place it is.
